Our Staff

Dr. FinnellDr. Finnell joined the University Podiatry Associates in 1998. He is originally from Hayward, Wisconsin and graduated from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Finnell completed his residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric medicine. Dr. Finnell is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.

 

Dr. MigonDr. Migon is originally from Medford, WI located in north central Wisconsin. She attended the University of WI-LaCrosse and received an undergraduate degree in microbiology. She spent the next four years receiving her podiatric education at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Migon did an additional 3 year postdoctoral residency in Denver, Colorado with an emphasis on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and trauma. Dr. Migon moved to Madison in 2006 and now calls Verona her home. She is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.

 

Dr. plovanichDr. Plovanich is originally from Kenosha, WI and attended the University of WI-Madison where she received an undergraduate degree in Women’s Studies. After gaining a year of clinical experience working with a local Dermatologist in Madison, she spent the next four years receiving her podiatric education at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. Dr. Plovanich did her 3 year postdoctoral residency in La Crosse, WI at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center with an emphasis on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and trauma. . She is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.

 

Dr. SmithDr. Smith is originally from Dubuque, IA. She attended the University of Iowa and received her undergraduate degree in psychology. She spent the next four years receiving her podiatric education at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Smith did an additional 3 years of postdoctoral residency in Chicago, Illinois at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center with an emphasis on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. During this time, she spent 6 weeks in Europe training with world renowned orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons. She currently is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.
